If promoter fails to complete the construction & give possession in time as given in Builder Buyer agreement, Section 18 of the RERA Act, 2016 provides remedy of refund or possession with interest and compensation to the allottees

Process of Execution
Execution Petition against Promoter is filed If promoter, neglects to comply & contravens RERA orders
and Refuses to give refund or possession or interest the Court will issue REcovery certificate and proceed to attach the property, even issue warrent of arrest against promoter to effect recovery and possession
RERA Court may impose penalty on promoter for imprisonment of a term up to three years or with fine up to 10 % of the real estate project or cancellation of license and or take over of the project if promoter
